Sitting here on a lovely, snowy, winter morning in Michigan thinking about all of the excitement that goes with the holiday season (any holiday)...

As wonderful as holidays are, they can sometimes cause some stress for parents, who may worry when they observe their children stuttering more when they get worked up. We can help parents through this time by reminding them that this is normal and expectedand that their child's joy during a holiday season is far more important than any temporary increase in disfluency they might see. Teach parents that it's okay to enjoy the turmoil and exuberance!
