AMPSS: The Assessment of Multiple Perspectives on Stuttered Speech protocol

Stuttering Therapy Resources, Inc. is developing an all-new assessment protocol for measuring the severity of stuttering, titled the Assessment of Multiple Perspectives on Stuttered Speech, or AMPSS, protocol.

This measure is focused on the speaker's perceptions during moments when they feel "stuck" or have difficulty speaking the way they want or when they want. We are also examining the perceptions of observers who interact with a person who stutters.

To ensure that the measure is reflective of the experiences of people who stutter, we are conducting a research study to collect data from many speakers who stutter, as well as from observers such as speech-language pathologists, parents and other caregivers, and teachers.

This study is being conducted by Stuttering Therapy Resources, and we are carefully following procedures to ensure safety and confidentiality for all respondents. Your identifiable data will not be shared outside of this study, and you may discontinue participation at any time.
