- The first time you log in, your username and password will be your email address. The system will prompt you to change your password.
- Thereafter, when you log in to the portal, you will see all of the digital materials that you can access.
- Your resources will be organized by title; simply click the icon to access materials related to that title.
- Please do not share your login information. Doing so is a violation of copyright law.
Access depends upon the type of material that you have purchased.
Practical Therapy Guides
- Therapy guides can be viewed on-screen through our portal’s e-reader. The e-reader allows annotations and notes to be saved in the file.
- Therapy guides cannot be printed, captured by screenshot, shared, or saved to another file format. You can purchase printed versions of these materials on our website.
- The forms and worksheets can be annotated and printed from the separate files that accompany the therapy guides.
Go-To Guides™
- Go-To Guides can be viewed on-screen through our portal’s e-reader. The e-reader allows annotations and notes to be saved in the file.
- Individual activities can be annotated and printed from the separate files that accompany the main Go-To guides. These are organized in your folder by activity number.
Booklets
- Booklets can be viewed on-screen through our portal’s e-reader. The e-reader allows annotations and notes to be saved in the file.
- Booklets cannot be printed, captured by screenshot, shared, or saved to another file format. You can purchase printed versions of these materials on our website.
Other Products
- The Overall Assessment of the Speaker's Experience of Stuttering™ (OASES™) technical/scoring manual and response forms are not presently available through the digital portal. We will announce when OASES materials become available.
- Books from J&R Press are not available through the STR digital portal.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do I use the digital materials for telepractice?
A: Forms and worksheet from our practical therapy guides and Go-To Guide™ activity books can be shared via Zoom or other teleconferencing software. Once a screen is shared, you can use the annotation feature of our digital portal to fill in forms and use activity sheets with your clients while online. If your teleconferencing software allows you to give cursor and keyboard control to your client, they can fill in forms or worksheets themselves. You can save a screenshot of completed forms or print them for documentation purposes, then clear your annotations so that the form is ready to use again.
Q: I already have the print version of one of your materials. Can I purchase the digital version and get the 40% bundle price discount?
A: The 40% bundle discount is only available when users purchase both the printed and digital materials at the same time. Whenever we release a new digital resource, we offer a 20% discount introductory price for people who already own a printed resource.
Q: Do I need to renew my access to STR’s Digital Portal annually?
A: No, your access to our materials is permanent. You do not need to renew or re-subscribe.
Q: Can I copy downloaded materials to my department’s shared drive?
A: No, it is a violation of copyright law to place these materials on your department’s shared drive. Each user must purchase their own access.
Q: Can I share my login information with my colleagues or others?
A: No, it is a violation of copyright law to share your access. Each user must purchase their own access.
Q: How can I legally share STR downloadable materials?
A: Only our free resources (Practical Tips, Videos, and Blogs) can be shared. It is a violation of copyright law to share other materials (Books and Booklets, Activity Guides, etc.) by email, posting, or printing and copying. To help others access our materials, please direct them to our website at www.StutteringTherapyResources.com.
Q: What if I want to provide digital access for more than one person?
A: The easiest way to set up access for multiple users is to place individual orders for each person who wants digital access. This will allow our computer system to establish separate accounts for each user. If you have a large list of new users who would like access, we can set up an order for multiple people to access the digital portal. Please send the list of names and email address for the new users, along with payment information for the entire order, to sales@StutteringTherapyResources.com.
Q: How do I purchase access for a user other than myself.
A: If you are buying digital access for another user (for example, if you are from a school district's purchasing department), please email us after you receive your confirmation notice indicating the name and email address of the person who will be accessing the publications. We will update the information in our system.
Q: Does STR accept Purchase Orders
A: Yes! We accept purchase orders from US Schools and Hospitals. Other organizations can use a credit card for payment. Prepayment is required for international orders; please contact us at to sales@StutteringTherapyResources.com for more information.
